EL-Fi M10 The Electronic Shear-Pin

Simple to install • Maintenance-free • Uses motor as sensor
RELIABLE AND MAINTENANCE-FREE
The Emotron EL-FI M10 protects all types of machinery against damage due to overload. When overload occurs, shaft power is increased, activating the EL-FI M10 which then stops the motor. In this way, the danger of machinery
damage and the costly equipment repairs caused by overload
can be avoided.

CHOICE OF ALARM LEVEL
By pressing the Auto Set button under normal working load, the alarm level is calculated automatically on the basis of actual measured motor loading (Auto Set level).
MEASURES WITHOUT A SENSOR
The Emotron EL-FI M10:
• uses the drive motor as a sensor
• measures drive motor input power
• calculates power loss using a unique algorithm
• gives precise shaft power
The need for mechanical load protection, external sensors, and cabling is minimized so that installation is simplified
and maintenance costs are reduced.

ADVANTAGES OF USING THE EL-FI M10
• increased machinery and equipment life
• reduced spares requirement
• reduced unplanned service interruptions
• reduced production shortfall.
